To be painfully honest, it's both.

I made a compromise with myself a while back about drawing angsty images with more cliches than a Lifetime TV Series: if I absolutely, positively HAD to draw an image like this, I would allow myself to on two conditions:

A) It would be pleasing to look at: no cringingly blatant self pity, no song lyrics or text, no gratuitous open-wounds-and-blood imagery unless I did something with it that hasn't already been done to death. (no pun intended.)

B) I would laugh mercilessly at myself afterwards. Emo is inherently silly, and emo involving furries is downright ridiculous. Life's too short to get butthurt about the basic facts of life, you know?

IMNotSoHO life doesn't care if it hurts you, because there's nothing bigger and more buggering than life, however cathartic pictures are part of any healty artist's growth, unless they are their main theme (see [link] for an example... it makes you laugh until you calm down, expecially the "fillers").

In the end then i would say:

Been there, seen that, looks good, thumbs up, carry on, don't get dragged
